How do I know if my appointment is confirmed?

Once you complete the booking process, you will be directed to an Appointment Confirmed page.

With most providers - depending on their preferences - you will also receive a confirmation through SMS, email and push notification (if you have an Okadoc app installed).

Appointment Confirmation notifications typically consist of:

  • Facility information
  • Practitioner information
  • Patient name
  • Consultation information
  • Links to manage your appointment online
It is important to note that, unlike some other booking platforms, Okadoc integrates with healthcare provider systems to provide accurate real-time availability. This means that, with Okadoc, you are booking a confirmed appointment not making a request to book.
